Installing a WordPress theme may seem daunting, but it’s actually quite simple. This guide will walk you through installing a WordPress theme when you have downloaded the zip file containing all of the files.
Step-1: In the WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes
Step-2: Click on “Add New”
Step-3: Click on “Upload Theme”, choose the zip file on your computer and select it and now press install now button.
Step-4: Click on “Install Now”. The theme will install. See installation progress in the lower left of the screen.
The theme should install successfully. Congratulations!
Activate it if you’d like to make it the live theme. Or click on “Live Preview” if you’d like to see what it looks likes without taking it to live.
